Nvidia-backed startup Upscale AI has launched Token Fabric, a platform designed to connect artificial-intelligence processors from multiple suppliers inside the same data center.
The company says the system combines hardware and software to simplify networking across mixed-vendor AI infrastructure.
Data centers want more flexibility
AI operators increasingly want to combine chips from Nvidia, AMD and custom silicon rather than depend on a single networking stack.
Token Fabric is designed to make those environments easier to deploy while maintaining high-speed communication between processors.
Upscale AI was valued at about $2 billion earlier this year and is part of a wave of startups targeting the networking bottlenecks created by massive AI clusters.
