TSMC reported record third-quarter revenue of T$1.49 trillion, about $46.7 billion, beating market expectations as demand for artificial-intelligence chips continued to surge.
Revenue rose 50% from a year earlier, while September sales jumped 54.6%.
AI remains the main growth engine
TSMC manufactures advanced chips for companies including Nvidia and Apple and has become one of the clearest corporate beneficiaries of the AI infrastructure boom.
Its latest revenue figure exceeded analyst forecasts and the company’s own prior quarterly guidance.
Investors are now waiting for detailed earnings and forward guidance next week, particularly on capacity expansion and advanced packaging.
