Drake Maye threw three touchdown passes as New England rallied late to beat Buffalo 29-26 and hand the Bills their first loss in their new stadium.

Drake Maye threw for 269 yards and three touchdowns as the New England Patriots beat the Buffalo Bills 29-26 with a late fourth-quarter comeback.

Buffalo’s final drive ends with interception

The Bills had taken a 26-21 lead shortly before New England’s final possession. Buffalo got the ball back with a chance to respond, but Craig Woodson intercepted Josh Allen at the Patriots’ 19-yard line.

Allen finished with 253 passing yards and a touchdown. Keon Coleman led Buffalo receivers with 116 yards and a score.

Patriots move to 2-2

The result lifted New England to 2-2 and dropped Buffalo to 3-1. It was also the Bills’ first defeat in their new stadium.

Maye’s late drive was the defining sequence of a game in which New England repeatedly answered Buffalo scores.
